Sheep!!

Who would've guessed it...the World Sheep Festival, right here in Missouri! Well, when a festival like that comes within an hour of you, you really have to go. So we did. In the tiny town of Bethel, Missouri (population 129) we watched sheep sheering, pet Angora rabbits, ate lamb burgers, ate kettle corn, and watched a sheep dog herd some sheep. There's nothing like sheep to bring you back to your roots...if your roots are found on a sheep farm.

A lamb ready for a hair cut.

A world champion sheep shearer.

This border Collie showed us how to keep sheep in a tight formation and direct them into a pen across the field.

Jackson and Sydney pet the Angora rabbit, held by a 12-year-old rabbit expert.
