Another weekend...

Another festival. This time it was the Harvest Festival in Columbia. There were several booths set up by vendors and period demonstrators. There were games and exhibits for the kids, animals, and a hay ride. Most importantly, there was kettle corn, funnel cakes, home made root beer, snow cones, and freshly squeezed lemonade. This is what makes fall in the midwest fun!!

Jake helped Jackson and Sydney make their own wooden cars at a booth sponsored by a woodworkers' organization. They both used a mallot to pound in the wheels.

We took a hayride around the park. Jackson was scared to get on at first but ended up loving the ride and the big tractor that pulled us.

Kate enjoyed riding in the stroller and chewing on her feet.

A mountain man tries to woo Sydney with his musical stylings on the bird flute.

Proff that they know how to share...enjoying a rootbeer snow cone.
